Just off the bench and available for sale is this lovely McFarland 8′ 4wt. If you’ve cast a classic McFarland taper like this… you know’s good. If you haven’t, you certainly owe it to yourself to give one a swing. Smooth, moderate action that’s truly a do-it-all configuration for our east-coast trout fishing. This one is finished out with a tiger maple seat and delicately machined reel seat all done in house. The grip is a 6″ rev half wells. Wraps are orange silks w/ some tasteful tipping where needed. Mike does many blanks in a tip-over ferrule design however I requested spigot ferrules on this blank. Build includes a khaki rod bag and of course a brass capped and labeled rod tube (not shown).
